Health Extenders

Health extenders are interventions scientifically proven to extend the duration of time lived in good physical and mental health, known as healthspan.

These interventions encompass a range of strategies, including dietary supplements, lifestyle changes, and other non-pharmaceutical approaches, that aim maintain or improve overall well-being by reversing or delaying symptoms of aging and/or reducing risk factors associated with age-related conditions.

Currently, pharmaceuticals cannot be used as health extenders because medicines are not prescribed to healthy individuals. As a result, they would miss the intended goal entirely.

By focusing on maintaining health rather than treating illness, health extenders promote a proactive approach to aging, supporting long-term vitality and quality of life. Only then will we have a genuine health-care system that prioritizes long-term health, distinguishing itself from the current disease-care system.
